Ella is a Counsellor and Equine Assisted Therapy practitioner with a lifelong passion for animals—especially horses. With more than 10 years of experience working closely with horses, she brings a deep understanding of their behaviour, communication, and emotional insight to her therapeutic work.
Originally on the path to becoming a Veterinarian, Ella’s direction changed when her first horse, Princess, revealed the profound emotional intelligence horses can offer. Inspired by this experience, she went on to study Counselling and Equine Assisted Therapy through Equine Assisted Therapy Australia, graduating in January 2025.
In her sessions, Ella blends traditional and creative approaches, incorporating art, nature, music, mindful practices, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Equine Assisted Therapy, and trauma-informed care. She is a registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, a member of Animal Therapies Limited, and holds a Diploma in Counselling along with a Certificate in Equine Assisted Therapy.
