The story of Meet Me In The Meadow began in 2022, when Ella witnessed a profound moment between her horse, Princess, and a young child diagnosed with autism. Princess instinctively slowed her movements and softened her behaviour whenever the child was near. Over time, their quiet connection helped the child grow more confident outdoors while developing communication skills and fine motor abilities.

Inspired by this experience, Ella began studying with Equine-Assisted Therapy Australia. During her training, she also started rescuing and adopting horses—gently rehabilitating and training them to become therapy partners. Each horse brought a unique personality and story, enriching the future vision of the practice.

In January 2025, Ella graduated as a qualified Counsellor and Equine Assisted Mental Health Practitioner. In May 2025, Meet Me In The Meadow officially opened its gates in the beautiful suburb of Pullenvale—created from a single heartfelt moment and a deep belief in the healing power of human–horse connection.
